This park is located on Sudderth Drive, between the Village of Ruidoso Community Center and the Main Fire Station at 501 Sudderth Drive.


Hours

School Houser Park is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. No overnight parking allowed without a permit.

New Playground Opens at Schoolhouse Park

The Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Department has opened a new playground at Schoolhouse Park, funded by a quality-of-life grant from the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration. The playground, resembling a miniature ranger station, features padded fall protection and a secure fence, providing children with a safe, fun space. Visit at 501 Sudderth Drive.

Ruidoso Parks and Recreation has completed upgrades at School House Park, including free-to-use tennis courts and a soon-to-be-open playground. Funded by a grant, these projects enhance recreational facilities for residents and visitors. Windscreens for the tennis courts will be installed soon. Stay tuned for the playground's official opening.

Park and pavilion use is based upon a first come, first use basis; park amenities for private use can be reserved for a fee.
